Beginners' courses (6 hours) are held over three (usually) consecutive Sunday mornings; each session is for two hours. Classes are conducted by Instructors accredited by Archery Australia and all of the archery equipment needed for the course is supplied by the Club.
Please be aware the Club's Committee and Coaches have all undergone Working with Children Checks through the SA Government DHS.
Courses are held as often as possible. Subject to clashes with other events, we will try to conduct coaching courses bi-monthly.
The cost of the coaching course includes the provision of all equipment for the classes and insurance coverage. (Archery equipment may be available for hire for a limited time, once the course has been completed.)
The variety of equipment and shooting styles is explained. You are encouraged to hold off on buying equipment until you have completed the coaching course.... you might wish to change the direction your sport can take you!
Payment must be made online by Credit/Debit card or PayPal and will mean acceptance into the course is immediate, upon completion of the transaction. (If the course is full, you will receive a message that you cannot complete the application (and payment) and will have to choose an alternative starting date.)
On successful completion of the course, you will be eligible to apply for Club membership.
