Twenty-two archers took the chance that the weather might actually be OK (given the coldness and dampness of recent weeks) and were amply rewarded.

In balmy conditions (well, that may be an exaggeration) the clout proceeded and some personal bests were recorded.

The day's proceedings concluded with a warming lunch of bangers and mash. Thanks to all members who assisted on the day in various capacities (and to Mia who chopped the onions, without shedding a tear).

Some members are contemplating entering the State Clout Championships on 30 August with some levels of apprehension now removed!
