Thursday, 10 October will see Masters Games archery come to Lobethal.
From 9.30 am, archers from around Australia (and possibly overseas) will gather to compete in friendly rivalry for the Unmarked Field Archery Event at the Lobethal Recreation Grounds and Bundara Reserve.
In this event, archers will be presented with 24 targets of varying sizes and set at distances dependent on the size of the target. Archers will be expected to estimate the distance. Three arrows per target are shot by each archer, for a total of 72 arrows.
The Australian Masters Games archery events are open to archers 30 years of age and older.
Volunteers to assist in the running of the event are encouraged - please contact the Club if you are interested.
